STRHS Pulaski Announces 2024 Provider of the Year: Steve Hagan

Pulaski, TN – Dec. 9, 2024– Southern Tennessee Regional Health System Pulaski (STRHS Pulaski) is proud to announce that Steve Hagan has been named the 2024 Provider of the Year. This prestigious award honors healthcare providers who go above and beyond in delivering compassionate, high-quality care to their patients.

Steve Hagan’s exceptional dedication, thoroughness, and patient-centered approach have earned him the trust and admiration of his patients and colleagues alike. A heartfelt nomination from one of his patients perfectly encapsulates the impact he has on those he serves:

"Steve Hagan is invested in his patients. I was so upset when my oncologist and my lifetime provider both retired in the same summer. I wasn’t sure who I’d go to that I would be able to trust. Then, I found Steve. He is kind, considerate, thorough, and intelligent. He doesn’t pretend to know everything about my health, but he does research, enjoys learning about everything in the medical field, calls other providers to advocate for me, and digs deep to find solutions. He’s stayed on top of my tests, bloodwork, and called me to update me and check on me. In what has been one of my biggest hurdles in life, I have felt confident in his care, I have felt like someone had my back, and I have felt like I wasn’t alone in my struggle.
