STRHS Celebrates 2025 BEE Award

We are thrilled to recognize and celebrate Tressy Ferguson, the latest recipient of the BEE Award at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System Pulaski! This special honor is awarded to non-nursing support personnel who consistently go above and beyond in providing exceptional care and service to patients, families, and fellow staff members.

At STRHS Pulaski, we know that outstanding care doesn't happen without the hard work of every team member—from those at the bedside to those working behind the scenes. The BEE Award (Being Exceptional Everyday) is designed to shine a light on those unsung heroes whose efforts make a difference in ways both big and small.

Tressy is the perfect example of what this award represents. Her work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to step up wherever she’s needed have made her an essential part of our hospital community. Whether she’s restocking supplies, helping Environmental Services stay prepared, unloading and organizing deliveries, or ensuring the Operating Room stays in top shape, Tressy does it all—efficiently and with a smile.

Her colleagues describe her as someone who is deeply invested in the success of every department, often doing tasks outside of her official role simply because she cares about the people she works with and the patients we serve. Her behind-the-scenes efforts not only make the day run smoother for those around her, but they also have a lasting impact on the quality of care our patients receive.

It’s no surprise that multiple people took the time to nominate Tressy for this award. While she may not seek recognition, it’s clear to everyone around her just how valuable she is. Her dedication, attention to detail, and supportive spirit don’t just help operations run more smoothly—they help create a better environment for everyone who walks through our doors.
